How do you tighten a Hilton vp up so it's
not so easy to mash down? Mine goes down
by itself almost. Thanks |

Try tightening the screws at the pivot. I think that is what I did. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Thanks Richard, I've tightened the pivot
screws as tight as they'll go, is there some
other way to tighten the pedal? |

I think Keith suggests 'O'rings or plastic washers on pivot bushing |

I "think" there is an adjustable spring inside.
I opened mine once to wire up a tuner output.
It's easy to open - take out the pivot screws. Washers will fall out. It's harder to put it back together... _________________ "To live outside the law you must be honest." (Bob Dylan) |

Thanks y'all, I reckon I'll just open it up and

o rings at Home Depot. 👍 |

Terry this might help. Take the pedal apart. On the right side you will see a Phillips head screw. tighten this just a little and problem is fixed. As stated it's harder to get the pedal back together. O rings will not help. |

Looking at the instructions, I now remember adjusting it with a screwdriver in the heel end of the pedal. No need to take it apart. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Having bought my Hilton pedal used, last year, that manual is a great thing to have.
So far, I've been extremely happy with the pedal and have had no problems with it. It works very well. |

Well shucks, my pedal don't have a screw in
the heel end of the pedal inside or outside .
I reckon it fell out or somethin. May have to
send it back to Keith. |
