Don't know if I copied this link correctly but I like this lick at 2:43 in this tune.
It's a Jason Boland tune crazy or Mexico
As a beginner I don't have much of an idea how it's done.
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance

I suspect you mean the lick at 2:53. Use the B&C pedals starting at the 14th fret and working down chromatically to the 12th fret, and then release the B&C pedals and bring in your knee lever lowering the 4th string a half tone, and work your way down from the 12th fret to the 10th fret, one fret at a time. All of this is on the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th strings.

This is a very common country picking pattern that every new player should learn. I covered this in my YouTube video on the B&C pedals, part 2.

Here's the link: https://youtu.be/spj4136YIDE

specifically starting at 4:20 and again at 6:25.

Where in California are you?

Thanks Paul,
I'm in Hollister, but I also have property near Madera.
I appreciate the help, I recognized the lick as a common steel lick, but couldn't replicate it, I'm going in now to try and learn it.
I'm always impressed by the camaraderie here on the forum I've learned a great deal just by reading the posts in the different subject lines.

I'll be playing at the Udder Place (that's really the name) in Turlock on June 22nd, and again on July 6th. If you have a place nearby where we can meet up, I'd be glad to show you a few things. Or you can drive to Placerville most anytime.

Paul, thanks for the invite but Turlock is a putt, and I'd have to drive home that evening as well I wish I could make it. I'd enjoy just watching !
If I was closer I'd come up and sit with you so I could learn, I'm an old six string player who got into steel a little over a year ago.
I bought an Emmons D10 LL from Lynn Stafford last Nov. and couldn't be happier.
Thanks again and I'll take advantage of your tutorials on YouTube.
