Here are the "Superfingers" for Joe De Feo's Pro II installed in the tailplate. Using stainless steel shims I hand fit each finger assembly. Some of those slots were as much as .203 wide. Coop

I have a question, John. Are the fingers generic to pro level Sho-buds (LDG here) or are they custom to the model? Logic suggests the former, but . . .

Just to let everybody know. I have installed
Superfingers on both necks of my Pro II Custom. This was a great project to get to
know how the undercarriage works. With some
help from John and Ricky, both necks are
up and running. The pulls are so smoooth!
And the tone, , so much more of that
ShoBud sound. I'm really pleased with how
this turned out. If you try them, you'll
like em!

Hey Joseph,

That's great news! I have a set of John's super fingers on order right now. Looking forward to install them on my Pro II Custom.

Thanks guys. I am always striving to make these old Sho~Buds the best guitars in the world!! Now all Joe needs for his Pro II is a set of "Teardrop" knee levers to finish it out. Thanks Joe for the words of encouragement. Coop
