I make no apologies for asking this and feel that this question may have been asked before but trawling through the archives am at a loss.
Is there any Billy Robinson tab or instructional material out there. For a man with such a distinctive style I find it hard to believe there is very little. _________________ MSA Classic 12 string Universal, Remington Steelmaster D8, National D8 Console x 2, George Boards Lap Steel, National New Yorker. |

Thanks for that Stefan. As you may have guessed from my Souncloud page the forward and rearward slants is not a problem. It's this mans feel and what he does to link one passage to another and the changes he makes while playing the melody notes. He has a feel all of his own. _________________ MSA Classic 12 string Universal, Remington Steelmaster D8, National D8 Console x 2, George Boards Lap Steel, National New Yorker. |

I was referring to string pulling slowing you down.
Slants shouldn't.
Good luck with it Mick. It offers a whole lot more options on the standard C6th neck. _________________ Stefan

Had the real pleasure of chatting and listening to Billy Robinson at Dallas. His style is so catching and is able to really pull off pedal sounds, which just blew me away. Legend!! I was gifted this signed print! I treasure this now.

Awesome photo; thanks for sharing!
Isn't that June Carter wearing the mini-dress to Billy's left? |
