Pushing radio buttons, heard a catchy song and of course no mention of who it is by. It probably is titled "By Myself", "All By Myself", or maybe "Done It All By Myself", but there are new pop songs which swamp any search I do - Celene Dion, somebody called Haystack, etc. This sounds like an oldie. Or maybe I just typed in the wrong word somewhere.

Best was to describe this is musically it is very close to Hank Williams "Mind Your Own Business". I was inside the garage, trying to adjust the tuning on a 50+ year old car radio and missed a lot of it. I THINK it make have been a jam type of song where various singers take a turn, but might be wrong.

Anybody know the song from those few clues?

This goes at least back to Big Bill Broonzy, 1941. Here's that version with Memphis Slim on piano

Here he is with Washboard Sam a bit later (50s)

I love the photo of Big Bill playing that Gibson Style O guitar.

There is an elderly gentleman here in town that has a pretty beat up Style O in the back of a closet...no case. He said he never has had a case for it.

It's been many years since I last saw it. I hate to think what condition it is in now. He doesn't play guitar, never has; but, he won't let it go.

Oh Well
