I got one of those emails wanting me to teach a 7 year old guitar lessons. They are going to fly me to who knows where for a month and put me up. I went back with a price of $2000 per week. They are confused by my response as they were offering $600 per week. Will keep you all informed, this should be a mind game for sure.

The best guitar lessons you could give a 7 year old would be piano lessons IMHO. I've had a few young-un's for students, and I couldn't get them to practice enough to build their callusses up to where they could play.

Larry, When I taught guitar, the youngest student I had was 6 years old. He had the ability to learn, but his hand was too small.
I think they should wait for his body to grow or keep watching ebay for a good deal on a hand stretcher.........JD |

It seems to me that a scam artist would offer more than $600/week.
Anyway, since this isn't about "Pedal Steel" I've moved it to the "Music" section of the Forum.
