Here's an idea for lowering your 7th string F# to Eb.

Thx all!

John, it's been a while since I recorded that on my iPhone. I'm trying to remember which of my equipment I used. Either a Nashville 1000 or the Katana. I did use a ZOOM reverb delay pedal. It was probably my Carter, not my ZUM.

Very cool, Ron. I really like that "smear" sound where everything sort of morphs together (a nightmare for those of us that enjoy tabbing recordings haha)

Dick,
It’s quite a long pull on the low pulls. F# to Eb.
You may have to lengthen your pedal travel. Experiment a bit.

If you raise your 8th string to F#, you get this change for free by releasing it while lowering to D# on the standard E lever.

Some players (e.g. Paul Franklin) have that on the C pedal.
