Hi Bill, didn't get a PM or email from you: Al sent me one saying that it must be Jerry Byrd.
It would sure seem like him, but I can't find any credits. The little bit that I found on the web/google was that Mr. Remington was playing with The Sons of the Pioneers back in that time frame, but it was somewhat of an obscure reference. And George Morgan did that song under his own name (not with the Sons). Just wondering--amazing chime riffs throughout.

I know that Billy Robinson did some work with George Morgan, but I don't know the era.

Brooks , Herb was playing with Bob Wills at that time.
Billy Robinson, Jerry Byrd did some recording with George and Billy just mentioned while at the TSGA last month that he recorded with George in 1949 in their younger days, ha.

I remember that tune by George very well, and at the time it came out, I didn't recognize the steel player as JB, but.?? I'll have to dig in my old recordings & see if I have that one..

I recorded this one some years ago, but with a more swinging tempo, have a listen.
