I bought this amp new. It is in mint condition and has never left my non smoking home. It looks just like it did when I took it out of the box. It also comes with a foot switch (never used) and dust cover. The specs on the amp show the weight at 34lbs. I'm now asking $600 with shipping included in the lower 48 states. I prefer PayPal "Friends & Family" but will also accept payment by postal money order, bank check, or personal check, (but must clear bank before shipping). Thanks for looking. * This amp is NOT a reissue.

Here is a paragraph that I copied from a ad on the "Sweetwater" web site regarding this amp.
Hot-rodded sound and response
The '68 Custom Princeton Reverb isn't a reissue - it's a hot-rodded tribute amp. Fender designed this all-tube combo amp with a modified tone circuit that delivers greater tonal flexibility when used with your favorite effects pedals. They also reduced the amp's negative feedback to give it increased touch sensitivity, and it also starts to overdrive faster. The Fender '68 Custom Princeton Reverb has a single 10" Celestion speaker that gives it a definite rock 'n' roll flair.
I hope that this helps clear up the matter on the reissue question. Thanks |

That’s why I was confused, as the original post says NOT a reissue. |

It's not a reissue. In the product literature they clearly state that it is it's own, new design. I have one and love it! Been using it for guitar and steel for the last several years. Debated getting this one to run in stereo...
'68 Custom Princeton Reverb is the model name of the new amp. The confusion is Fender's fault, not Mr. Berger's. I suppose he could've went out of his way to state in all caps THIS IS A MODERN AMP!, but I found the context, despcription, and pics to be enough, at least on my end.
Good luck with the sale! |

My 2 cents... I own this amp, and it is AMAZING! When I saw this post, I considered buying it so I would have a second one. It is a tone monster, with that great fender reverb, but when I starts breaking up, that is when the real magic happens. Fantastic blues and rock tone, with great character and expressiveness. I have much more expensive amps, but this one gets all the compliments... got my friends buying fender amps now... but this one is SPECIAL.
Great deal on a great amp, for someone lucky! |

That new tone circuit is super. My son has the DR version of this amp. It blows my original BF away. _________________ To write with a broken pencil is pointless. |
