This is the only song I remember by name from back when I was playing Alto Sax in Elementary School Orchestra (and I was thinking about it today for some reason).
This is kinda fun to play along with, (just watch out for the Trumpet intro, it's kinda loud Shocked ).
It lays out nicely on E9th in the Key of C (you can play the entire melody line on fret-8 using standard E9th pedals and levers.

I played bass in a father and sons big band group in elementary school in the early 70's called "The Generation Gap"
It was a great experience and, looking back, playing with a bunch of folks was my favorite thing about being in the group.
We did a Maynard Ferguson. song, though I don't remember the name.
My dad was into "Screaming" Maynard Ferguson.
Here is a picture of him back in the day with Montpelier, Vermont's "The Duke's Of rhythm" (bottom row, 2nd from the left):

Nice!
Little known fact...
Born Free and Sleepwalk start with the same two notes.

Chris - That's a great photo.

I wonder what kind of reso guitar that is.
