Hey everyone,
Lets pretend the liberals have gotten into office and passed a new law that states that any PGS player can own only one PSG. Furthermore, once you own it, you must keep it forever. You can never trade it for a new one. What would you choose and why?

ZUMSTEEL Just ask anyone who owns one and you'll get the why part answered in full. Playability,stays in tune,tone to the bone,solid construction,beauty,durability,backed by one of the best builders in the business, etc, etc. etc. on and on and on. We could talk about our Zums' all day and still not cover all the good in the guitar.

I can play anything on my Williams D-12 crossover. It looks and sounds great and has more changes than anyone really needs. It's the one I'd keep if I could have only one.

| CARTER D-10, 8 & 5, black mica. 04' model. Dependable, stays in tune, looks good and plays great. This would probably be it, however, I'm thinking about going to totally S-12U's. That would be another CARTER to. |

Liberals? In Canada, the Liberals are a political party with a centrist ideology. This contrasts with left-wing New Democratic Party which is of a socialist bent, and the right-leaning Conservative Party which is somewhat like the Republicans in the US. Federally, the Liberals have gained a reputation as being the 'governing party' because they try to accommodate the interests of different voting blocs.
The real question should have less to do with who governs and more to do with what you can afford to keep. If for a sudden you needed all the cash you could spare and could afford to keep only one guitar, which one would you keep?
I have only one steel, so the answer to that question is easy. If you just said 'electric guitar', I have five of those, and I would probably hold onto my Strat if I could keep only one guitar. |

Well, since all my steels are MSA U-12s, it's only a question of which color. I'd keep the green one.
But the original premise that liberals would pass such a law shows a great deal of ignorance about what liberals believe.
Basically liberals like me believe in government regulation of corporations, but not of individuals (with the obvious exceptions of not allowing people to harm others.) The idea that liberals would want to restrict a musician's right to own more than one instrument is ludicrous.
If you guys want to know what liberals think and believe, ASK ME. Of course, I can't speak for all liberals, but I offer you the chance to learn about us from the horses mouth, instead of from it's other end. |

I'd keep my old, beat up Carter, D-10, 8x5. I'm just starting to get used to it. Plays just fine to my ear.

Steel guitar has ruined fewer lives (well, maybe?) than drugs, alcohol, the government, and organized religion put together. I'll become the Godfather of Country Music.
