Two days ago I flew from Albany New Yawk to Anchorage Alaska,I have a flight case for my Desert Rose guitar that Chuck Back built for me one of those plastic rifle looking cases with wheels,After taking off my shoes,Belt,and wallet,and cell phone through security I waited for my backpack which had my Telonics volume pedal in it to come through the X-Ray...The TSA gal came over to me with pedal in hand and told me that she had to ask another TSA agent what it was he laughed and said"it's a volume pedal for a steel guitar"I was floored.So a million miles later I arrived in Anchorage,I go to Delta oversized luggage,The agent said "I bet you're looking for your rifle"?I opened he case and he said he was afraid to open it and it's heavy?My friend Joe picked me up outside the terminal and said"Boy this is really light"Delta took good care of my steel guitar,and I almost have feelings in my back and legs!

| I never have a problem with Delta's TSA flying with my steel. I have a similar gun type case (SKB). American on the other hand is usually always a claim number type of deal. The guys down at FLL even know what it is. |
