I live in Eatonville Washington.In the Hills
No Machine shop.
I want to add a 4th pedal. I need info on the pull rods ,Threded end. I can get 1/8
SS welding rod. What tool do I need to thread
the end.

The originals were 5-40 threads, but if you're doing it by hand, 6-32 will work just fine, and is much easier to do. The rods cut their own threads in the nylon tuning nuts anyway.  |

stil looking for parts. Pedal, crossover bar
pedal pull rod, pull rods.
I gat this Guitar in trade for my Emmon
the E lower is on the Right it needs to be
left going right, I have played a lomg time
with the Emmons tuening. Help.

Chuck, like you I was all alone when I wanted to add pedals and knees on my Sho-Bud. The best help that I got at the time was from Duane Marrs. While he does Sho-Bud restoration, he may know where to get Dekley parts, may even have Dekley pedals, and advise on installing.

There is a guy here in reno that owns a store called the antique rocker. he sells mainly vintage guitars, but the last time I was in his store a couple of months ago, he had a deckley 3&4 with a the music stand that attches to the front legs. he listed it for $800.00, but would let it go for $600.00. From what I saw it was the dark brown walnut formica, and the chrome looked real good. Seems everything was there. It was a nice looking steel, and I am sure the instrument was playable. I would have bought it, but I have gone back to playing lap steel, and student model pedal steels, due to the weight factor, and I don't play in bands any longer.Here's the number 775-324-4540. It might be better to deal with this guitar at this price, and add that fourth pedal on a whole complete guitar. This is just my observation as I see it. Hope that everything works out for you.
