I like the console grand, although it looks strangely similar to a Sho-Bud crossover....
If you don’t mind dealing with knuckleheads, you might score a bargain.

Does not look like a Gibson product to me. I have a CG 520 and it looks nothing like that.

Thought a Console Grande was a non-pedal steel.
This has pictures of the underside...pedal linkage, pull rods and all!

As all of us know, and somebody really should share this info with the used instrument guy at GC, the 'son' of the Gibson name comes from the co-designer, Buddy Ebson . I think the Gib comes from one of the Beegees? I forget.

I gave them a ton of info about what they have, but as I said, no reply.

I like Jon Light's info better! Laughing

That's funny... one would think that in Gnash - Ville, they would know what that is (????) Then again GC always seems to have employees that just have no clue. Rolling Eyes

Guitar Center; what to say.
I have some guitars that are 70+ years old.
They are in better shape than any guitar I have seen hanging on any of their walls.
It's a place for kids to hang out after school and thrash guitars for a while.
And......AND......every amp is turned up to 11.
Ok......I'm done.. Very Happy

I emailed GC and got a quick and polite response. They have not yet corrected the picture on their website as of this posting. So... they sent me this.

Well, if you spent any time in the Guitar Center Nashville, this would make perfect sense. Laughing
