I have a Boss RV-3 digital delay and reverb pedal and when it is plugged in and turned on, it becomes "microphonic" for lack of better words. You can tap it with your finger or move it and it sounds as if you were tapping on the pickup on your guitar. Any ideas on how to cure or stop this problem. Changing cables makes no difference. The entire unit is "sensitive" to the touch when activated.

John, sounds like loss of a "signal" ground. Check all the connecting wires inside, and plugs.
