Inspired by all the videos out there of folks playing jazz on E9.

Nice job. Need a swing backing track to give it some soul.

I am going to flesh this one out. More or less made the video so I could remember the arrangement when I get back to it.

I love this song, Tim, and plan to play it this summer over here at one of the steel festivals, but I'm looking for a decent backing track. I would really appreciate any help you could give, the stuff on Spotify is very thin and not at all to my liking. I don't have BIAB.

Best,

Will

I play this from the Real Book 5th edition. Is Em fine for you? How many times through the chart would you like?

Tim, I've never heard of the Real Book - the structure I know is "verse, chorus, instrumental, verse, chorus, repeat last 2 lines and out". I usually play it in Dm, if you have an Em backing track I can either re-learn in Em or transpose the backing track down a whole tone. I have software that will do that.

Will

(PS: Late edit: found the Real Book on internet. Now all I need is the backing track - I already had the music. Needs to be around 80-82 bpm.)

I can track it in Dm. What tempo would you like?
