Up for sale is my prized Sho-Bud Blonde. I've owned her since 2009. Very little use outside the house during that time. Just as pretty now as when I got her. Need the cash for another purchase so I have to let her go as she's not my gigging guitar.

See the original listing here where this James Morehead built guitar is discussed:

https://bb.steelguitarforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=153158&highlight=blonde

You'll see the Coop polished parts there and in pics below. The changer fingers are Coop's roller bearing design that David Jackson calls a vast improvement over the original. Pickups are TrueTones tapped at 19.6/17.5 Plays and sounds amazing. Case is a little rough but perfectly sound/serviceable.

She plays and sounds incredible. Here's a clip of me playing it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qTKlx3PgDo.

Asking price lowered to $3300 shipped and insured in cont. US.

Slim 714-717-7218--more pics/info upon request.

If I were to sit down and write down all the attributes of my dream steel guitar, both mechanically and cosmetically, this would be it ! Absolutely stunning guitar ! This wont last long. If only I had the money !! Best of luck with the sale...selfishly, I hope it shows up in Dallas, I would love to see it in person, but I bet its long gone by then.
Great guy to do business with too !

Hang in there Slim, Your price is
Is good for the steel your selling. Very poor market right now. Takes time, If I weren't currently purchasing a Professional, yours would be of interest to me. I love the early round front tone and Coop and Morehead were very talented. Great guitar there. CAA

I saw this at the Dallas show. A very special Sho Bud indeed.
Stunning birdseye maple. Don't see many this nice.
If it plays as good as it looks it's a good price and a keeper.

Beautiful guitar, and I also want to compliment you on your photographs. I like art photos of steels as much as most folks but your group of pix is a great example of what I want to see when evaluating a steel.

Thanks for the complements Bruce. I like to post pics that completely detail the guitar so there are no surprises.

Still available. A few good offers but still looking to get closer to my asking price. I will change the guitar to your copedant, within the scope of parts already on the guitar, if it sells for asking price.

Bump for a beauty. Coop parts, Morehead build, two hole pullers, round front Sho-Bud. And those pedals are so foot-friendly. Just WOW!

Congratulations on the sale. That is the prettiest steel that I have seen on the SGF in a long time.
