Hello all!
Firstly, i'm following the education: 'Logistics & Economics' bachelor's degree and I would love to do an internship in the United States. Hereby my request to all of who could help me, I would love to do an internship at Aviation, Warehousing, Production or Logistic Service Providers. This graduation internship will take place from Februari till June 2019.
Currently I am a third year student Logistics & Economics at the NHTV: University of Applied Sciences in Breda. I am looking for an organization where I can keep myself busy analyzing and improving logistic processes, problems or issues within the company. Some ideas for an assignment are: increasing the service level, logistical inspection, refurbishment of a warehouse or process optimization of the export / import. If the company have ideas for an assignment, then of course I am open to it. The purpose of the internship is to solve a possible problem in the company and to investigate this. Next, a possible solution, implement solution and recommendation will be made for the company and finally a report will be given to explain this further.
My learning goal is to see how logistics works in practice. After my first internship at KLM Cargo from august till december 2017 I've got a good idea of how logistics works in the aviation industry. Now i'm following 3 months school and my last exams. Next, i'm going to have an internship at DHL from 26 March till 29 June, and my assignment is to optimize the sorter of the DHL Service Center.
Hopefully someone in the Pedal Steel Guitar Network knows somebody who can help me or can help me by himself. I'm open to all locations for an graduation internship but I would love to have an internship in Nashville or Dallas.
