I like both of these guitars for different reasons and can't decide which to keep, so I'll let the buyer decide for me.

The mother-of-toilet-seat model is very pretty, sets up tripod-style and sounds like the blond one in the treble range.

The blond one, on the other hand, is on four legs, has two pickups and some different, mostly fatter sounds with the pickup away from the bridge, as you'd expect.

I'm seeing these guitars priced at 6-$900 plus shipping, so I'll price either of these at $650, which would include shipping up to $50.

Both guitars have original tweed cases.

I am currently playing the same model as the MOTS eHarp pictured. Beautiful sounding guitar.

No more difficult than any other tuning. You do have to get used to using a 4th pick: the ring finger. But other than that, it is a pretty straight forward system and the Alkire Steps make it pretty simple to learn.

Nice. I do use my ring finger. I'm playing lap since less than one year but with guitar n ukulele since a while so that 4th finger is used to play.

I havent had problems studying C6 and A6, but I need a lot more study.

I think i'm starting to get an idea of how to play this new instrument but it wont be easy.. .. as usual.

By the way. Are they still available??

You can purchase the Steps in pdf form from the university of Illinois, their sousa archive. I have also started a facebook group for those interested in learning more calle Eharp Players
