I am releasing a new album soon featuring five steel players who through their artistry have made significant contributions to popular music. Lloyd Green, BJ Cole, Robert Randolph, Greg Leisz, and Dan Dugmore all contributed the talent to this project. Thank you all. Here is the ever humble and gracious Lloyd Green on a song from the album. Enjoy..."md.ldg"

Love it, Mike! The Sneaky Pete tone you have on your guitar really blends well with Mr Green's. Thank you for sharing that.

Bravo Mike

Great Project! Love the way you take the pedal steel outside the box and expand on the creative capabilities and possibilities!

If I may, please, take a moment to confirm the obvious, but, perhaps ever so slightly obscured condition, ---the tune is composed, arranged and produced by Mike. His composition and production ideas possess a sensitivity to steel-centric textural complexity that is somewhat unique amidst the lexicon of pedal steel albums. This particular tune is of no exception, insofar as, it provides a beautiful synergistic platform upon which both Mike and his showcased partner, the master of melody, king of touch and tone, lloyd Green, team to apply their inimitable musical magic. Cheers and best wishes to you, Mike, as the post production heavy lifting is completed.

This is excellent! Mike..you've really come into your own style and your direction is very appealing and inventive. I hope this encourages more pedal steel players to experiment with other amps, effects and genres. Thanks for posting and it goes without saying...Thank you also very much Lloyd...always a thought provoking approach to everything you play...Wonderful! as Lawrence Welk would say!

This should show the world that the pedal steel is NOT just a country instrument.

Looking forward to the rest of the project.

Great job Mike.

With the recent shows at Dallas last week, Lloyd displayed that he is still in his prime after playing for over five decades. It is an honor to have him as part of my new recording.
