I looked at it on ebay...somebody put the strings on backwards. It looks like it may have been a nice guitar in its day.

These guitars were built in the early 70's
by Morrell Music in Bristol Tn. and Pepe
Peler, not sure if I spelled the last name
correctly. Pepe was the steel player for Bonnie Lou and Buster. They had a long running TV show sponsered by Jim Walter Homes. The Jo part of the name came from Joe
Morrell . I owned one back in the 70's. It was a low priced guitar ok for a beginner. I think Pepe was the builder.Joe,having music stores all over East Tn. and Southwest Va. did the marketing .
Pepe is still playing steel. Very well, I might add.
