I have received very few so far, four to be exact, with one of them more than I can spend, would like to see more. Strange, you say you have x amount to spend and you get offers of guitars costing more? I am not fond of black or red which could rule out many. |

I'll sell you this one I am playing here that Junior Knight and I built last week.
It wails and cries better than any steel I've built or played. It is basically a welded frame EMCI D-10 3 & 4 with EMCI adjustable cross shafts, various makes of bell cranks with only the E9th gear installed but it's different from an EMCI because I mounted the hardware directly to the board and didn't Formica it. I also used a shellac base coat with a thin coat of lacquer over that. The Keyhead and the pedal board are Carter parts.
The strings slope downward toward the nut like any other stringed instrument about 1/4". You don't notice it while playing. I don't know why steel guitar makers think the strings have to be straight with the fretboard. Like on a violin the higher the bridge the more powerful the tone gets. I know it's hard to Buck conventional thinking so I want bog your mind on that. Anyway for $2,000.00 including shipping in a real steel guitar flight case for airline travel that says Junior stenciled on it you'll have an axe that really sings. Not very pretty but most great guitars are not pretty. You'll have to go to the Facebook app to listen to it ungarbled. From this link it sounds like it's been ran through a meat grinder. Just playing through a session 500 with no effects but a pinch of amp spring reverb.

I am waiting to see if I am going to buy a Jackson this weekend. If it falls through I will be looking at all the guitars offered.
Thank You All
