I’ve recently started playing seven string C13 tuning, and will be selling a couple of guitars to fund new projects. Up for sale is one the late Tom Pettingill made for me. He called it UltraP, as it is loosely based on the classic 40's Gibson Ultratone.
Some basic specs:
25" scale
Mahogany with flame maple trim
Lollar Ultratone 6 pickup
Grover 205C tuners
String through set bridge
Matching wood knob set
Mahogany pickup topper
Tru Oil finish
I don’t have a case, but will pack it in a manner to make Tom proud (anyone whoever received a guitar from him knows what I mean).
Asking $1,450 including shipping. I am willing to consider a trade for a long scale 7 stringer (a rarity, I know).

So sorry to hear that you have to sell your Pettingill UltraP.
Yes, you are right about the way Tom packed his steels. _________________ Four Pettingills and a Clinesmith Aluminum. Fender Blues Junior. Quilter Mini-101. |
