Until further notice. Do not be afraid to look under the hood of your steel, go slow, make diagrams, take pictures, make a few practice adjustment. You are in control, not your guitar. _________________ '70 D10 Black fatback Emmons PP, Hilton VP, BJS bars, Boss GE-7 for Dobro effect, Zoom MS50G, Stereo Steel amp, Telonics 15” speaker.

That's an outstanding title for a song in maybe a Pink Floyd kind of vein! May I steal it? |

We are in charge of the machines
But a broke one ain't worth a can of beans
So take it to your bench
And grab yourself a wrench
And get a little grease upon your jeans.
If your machine just ain't a-workin right
No need to get yourself all worked up tight
Everybody 'cept the fools
Has got themselves some tools
You'll have it fixed before tomorrow night
So when your machine starts actin' wrong
Just remember this here little song
You can get your kicks
Accomplishing the fix
You'll show it who's the boss before too long!
(I hate to say it, but this one might actually sound good with one of them ban-joes!) _________________ Many play better than I do. Nobody has more fun. |

But if tonight you have a gig
And under the hood you're not sure what you did
You might have to tell the band "hey , that's jazz! ..dig?" _________________ A banjo, like a pet monkey, seems like a good idea at first. |

If it squeaks, if it leaks,
If it doesn't work for weeks
Set it straight and just get mean
Cause you're in charge of that machine
(ending)
From lowly serfs to Kings and Queens
We're ALL in charge of the machines!!!!

A chorus is no problem for Songwriter of the Year. I knew he could do it. The man's a genius. You don't get song writer of the year for just whistling Dixie. _________________ Derby SD-10 5x6; GFI S-10 5x5; GFI S-10 5x5; Zum D-10 8x7; Zum D-10 9x9; Fender 400; Fender Rumble 200; Nashville 400; Telonics TCA-500. |

Since I am now on my third day of trying to fix my pedal steel that got wet in Hurricane Irma, I am beginning to think the machine is winning!
BTW, if you want to see where my guitar got wet (even though in the case) click on this link:

That is a panorama shot of the villa I stayed in for the hurricane (in the concrete apartment below this area). You can see the guitar case on the kitchen table. Unfortunately, it was on the floor during the storm, and there was standing water on the floor.... don't know how the water got in the house! haha! _________________ Bringing steel guitar to the bukid of Negros Oriental! |
