Just finished; first 8 string Tele body Melobar.
Photos explain the model pretty well, this has a humbucker with a split coil switch, this is the model that balances so well when walking around a stage.
Let me know your 8 string tuning and string gauge and I'll set it up specifically for the buyer.
$875 plus shipping.

Hi Will,
No, if you've followed the melobarted blog we ran into a batch of Melobar necks I didn't know about; once those are built that will be the end of them.
I usually have about 6 weeks in the middle of winter to focus on them, this one I started last year at this time and just got it finished.
Also have a double neck 8-string done and a Blueburst Nashville Tele set up 6-string and that will be it for painted complete guitars.
Paint finish is nearly impossible for me to get done so I've been doing "kits" and I think from here that is all that will be available. I'll router and shape everything, primer them, then actually completely assemble them so they are playing guitars. When you get it you just unscrew everything, do your own paint finish the way you want it, then screw everything back together.
Cuts the cost and ensures they are built correctly.
