Hello, after years of resisting the urge I'm looking to purchase my first pedal steel. Looking to spend under $1000 but definitely want a 10 string. Please let me know if anybody knows of anything! Thank you. |

If you are truly serious about playing pedal steel, and I know you know your level of interest in the pedal steel. But to best under 2k steel u can afford. It is an investment, that will bring you tremendous joy and Frustration, lol. Try 4 a lacquer bodyed one as there value rarely goes down. Thats my 2 cents. Good luck & lol yes I do have such a guitar 4 sale. Crazy Arizona Art
P.s try "FedEx fragile ground shipping." As its been good 4 me. No guarantee as i have no affiliation _________________ "like an old stallion, lonely for freedom, still trying to out run the wind" Seals,Setser,& Davey.

It's a fine guitar. Looks good in black, too.

In my experience $1000 may not be enough money to buy a good long term instrument. Don’t hope for anything more then something to get your feet wet and see if you are into it enough to,put the time and money into playing.
With that you may get lucky or track down a stage one.
It’s like if you want a car but only want to spend $3000.
Anyway, pedalsteel is a super fun and captivating instrument. Welcome to the nut house ! _________________ Bob |
