Here is a picture I ran across cleaning out some "good junk". It was given to me by long time friend Cliff LaBombard.

A few discrepancies there. I believe the fiddle player #4 in the front row is Tommy Williams.
Top row 1 and middle row 1, working on them and #8 top. Can't be 2 Koos Biels. [1M & 7B] See if I can find my old program from '80 ![Laughing](images/smiles/icon_lol.gif) |

Middle Row #1 looks like Henry Strzelecki.
Lots of musical talent there from an era when player's styles were diverse and unique.

Still some correction in order underneath the photo.
#1 top row l is Henning Kock
#7 bottom row is Randy Beavers. [Wrong, sorry] Koos Biel as posted.
Some of the corrections are pointed out in the replies.

On closer look, you might be right. My bad. Don't remember Randy with a 'stache. Maybe Koos Biel as stated. A different view of him in the other ISGC thread. See if you can make anything of that. |

Thanks for posting the picture. I thought #4 on the bottom row was Tommy Williams buy maybe I am wrong. He looks like the fiddle player who played on Hee Haw. |

Interesting that this group photo is ALMOST the same one that Mark Draycott posted, indicating his was taken in 1979. Since Mark's photo was originally taken by his father, perhaps a slight error in the date occurred? Thanks for posting WITH the player's names as I couldn't recognize ALL of them! |

I think Tommy Williams was with John Denver in his early days? Can't remember the song title but Denver had a big hit with Tommy doing the fiddle part. J.R. _________________ NOTHING..Sold it all. J.R. Rose |

I think top right #9 is Wally Murphy. He is about 6'6" tall. I have seen Wally many times with and without the beard. But my mind plays tricks on me anymore. J.R. _________________ NOTHING..Sold it all. J.R. Rose |

I think number bottom row is Bobby Garrett, sure looks like him. There is another post that says 1979 where he's facing front. Looks like same picture, just different pose. _________________ Henry Matthews

Which number bottom row? I don't believe Bobby Garret is in the photo anywhere. |

I think they got that one right under the photo. I'm pretty sure it's Koos.

Who is number one in second row then with red shirt and black vest? Thought that was Koos. _________________ Henry Matthews

That's Henry Strzelecki . Bass player with the Nashville SuperPickers that played with Buddy on the Fri. nite concert.
I've seen him at the shows and around Nashville so I'm sure it's him. |

Ok, sounds good to me. You are probably right. Bobby used to hang with that drowd so thought it may have been him. Thanks Jerry _________________ Henry Matthews

I was asked about the list of pickers on my posted picture. They were on there when I got the picture from the friend. It was posted "as is". |

That is 1980. I have several good pics of The Superpickers that year. That is definitely Henry Strzelecki #1 on middle row. Missing is Terry McMillan, Phil Baugh, Willie Rainsford, and Buddy Harmon. |
