"The Score" is another great tune off Weldon Henson's "Honky Tonk Frontier" CD - traditional country at it's best. That's Ricky Davis on steel - honky tonk deluxe! Lots of great steel intros, licks, and breaks on the whole album.

Here's a look at the intro and break. They both kick off with a way cool "ear twister" by Ricky D. Comments and questions always welcome. Enjoy the music!

Great stuff Jeff and oh btw; that's me singing harmony..ha...(I know just had to say it again...as it has nothing to do with the awesome tab..ha.)...
Ok the vocal tag on the song here...I do another "ear twister", waaaaaaay cool counterpoint walk up at 3:22....come on with it.

I checked with Ricky D and the first staff below is the way he played the counterpoint passage at 3:22. Nice! - you'll need your wide grip Smile

While I was trying to figure this out, I came up with the counterpoint exercise on the second staff. It's got a cool reverse to forward slant and I thought the descending bass notes on strings 6 thru 10 were fun to play. Note: E lever lowers string 2 1/2 tone
