So glad the SGF is online again! Thanks bOb! I've just found this quite unusual modulation in a Tom Jans song (at 1:45):

He decides destination is F, so why not launch from a C?
Doesn't matter much what goes in between (Bb, Ab, who cares?). _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Hadn't heard of Tom Jans before now. He recorded with Lowell George, Sneaky Pete and Weldon Myrick, among others. |

But I'm quite sure you've heard "Loving Arms" before Frank, his most well known song. It begs for pedal steel. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |
