They've just started again after a long gap. Perhaps Russell means before that. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I'm trying to find an answer on that for you Russell. Having gone through some different owners over the years, I'm guessing the number you're looking for is going to be tough to dial in.
I'll post back here if I learn anything. |

Thanks Ross , The Crown gearless was always my favorite Sierra especially the Uni 12 . Always like the look with the legs outside the body and I hope to find one , one of these days, by the way your new Sierra looks Great. Russ |

According to long time Sierra employee Tom Baker, there were approx. 2198 high end pedal steels from 1976-2003. Tom says the early records from '76 are a bit iffy which is why I say its an approx. number.
In that same time there were 303 Artist models produced.
There are no records available prior to Don christens en's purchase of the company in 1976. |

That's more than Zum, but a fraction of either MSA or Sho-Bud. I think it's also well short of Emmons. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
