Jerry, I’d taken for granted that I was too late and that a deal had been sealed. Let me look at a round trip ticket and my schedule so I could possibly come play it. I already have 2 I plan to play but it may still work out.

Best regards,
MB

Marty, I have a 1974, satin walnut, D-10, 8x6, ( two left knees stock), 17.5 TrueTones.. one inch under but I brought it back up to standard with a kit. I bought it from LYNN Stafford on consignment. It’s not refurbished but set up by LYNN. Unless you play a Day setup of Terry Bethel with the Crawford D on top it will have to be reconfigured. C6th is standard, lkl A to A#, like C to B. Nice guitar I guess I’m just an all pull sorta guy. No other pictures at this time. I have about $4500 invested with parts and labor. Asking $4000 but.....

Hi Marty, I was looking at maybe getting Joe Garner's JCH but he decided not to sell. I really don't want to get rid of my '74 at this time but good luck finding one you like.
Thanks, Billy

Hi Marty,

I just sent you an email with information on two different PP guitars that I just acquired for some reworking and resale.

Please let me know if either one sparks your interest.

Marty, I have a 76 Emmons Rosewood 8 & 5. The guitar was completely restored by Albert Johnson. It has maybe ten hours on it. It has not been played out and come with Wade Thomas split cases. The cases are covered in Flowered patterned , black simulated leather. They are in very good condition also. The guitars has a couple of items that would prevent museum quality. The pedal board had some pretty serious scratches so we decided to Frost it. Looks very nice. The pedals are narrow. The original pedals were a mix match of original Emmons pedals. We decided to narrow them all. I much prefer them as I play in boots and they don't get hung up in the pedals . If you are familiar with Alberts work I don't need to elaborate on that. I can email you pics if you want. I only have a regular camera so I can only do what it can. I am looking to get 3500.00 . My home is smoke free also. Thank you..

Willis E Vanderberg aka. Old Bud.

As soon as I heard it I was done. LoL...and I’ve always wanted one with those tuning keys so that’s an extra bonus.

Realize that anything Marty plays will sound amazing, to say the least! Can't wait until I get mine in so we can compare tone. I will just sit in the corner while Marty plays both. I'm fairly convinced he's able to use telepathy to will the steel to play by itself. Laughing

Awesome score, Marty! That's a beauty!

David, thank you for the kind words. I’m a work in progress because I’m a VERY LONG way from the player I want to be, but thanks again.

Very nice Tony. I like the look of yours more than mine....except for the tuning keys.
