Thanks Allan,
I didn’t do it in this “long series of still pictures”... LOL, because I really wasn’t set up to make the video, but didn’t want to start over and do a 2nd take... but afterwards grabbed a piece of 1/4 Key Stock about 12” long and shoved it in from the front under the inside rail which allows you to lock the pedal in the open position... I also put a 2nd wrap on the right side of the Set Screw which may make it a little smoother.

Why indeed.... I like something a little more solid, though you couldn’t tell by how I was doing it... LOL, but a cork might work fine... never tried one
