Due to some recent events , I will be limiting service for guitars that I did not sell originally. Since the beginning , I have offered advice and many times spent hours on the phone with a person that bought a guitar from another source. Sometimes even giving parts away , or even sending parts at my expense .
Due to some people that have been rude to myself or whoever is here to answer the phone , and demanding that I look at pictures , that "bung up" my email , this has ended .
The latest guy from Pa, has called about 10 times with a 27 yr old guitar , wanting to know when I changed my design, etc . Then he has been changing pickups and letting me know his "expertise" on guitars. Then the email I sent telling him I would be gone for a few days , to do business in Canada , got a reply stating that he had called the house , was told I was in the shop , Canada was a good place to hide out , and the steel should have been done "right" in the beginning .
Well, I've had it with "experts" . The lady here , has been in the hospital off and on for a few months , and we have no need of foolishness . When I'm away on business , I do have a cell phone.
In the last few days , I've talked with other builders and repair people , and they seem to think this is where they have to be , as well

Sorry you are having a bad day Jerry. I feel for you. Some customers just don't get it. But enough is enough! I feel for you and I wish you the very best. Just have some faith. J.R. Rose

Jerry has been building pedal steel guitars for years and helps other builders. I bought a new double neck in 2002, he had helped me with changes and has always been great to deal with and I consider him a friend.
He gives of himself and talents, can't believe people being rude to this man.
Bless you Jerry and thanks for all you have done for me.

Happy birthday, Jerry!

JF builds nice guitars. Still go by something he told me years ago. You have to " Personalize " your guitar to fit the player. So true.
