I don't know which way I do it. I just "do it". Some pedals I may be dead on, others may be an angle, especially since I can reach all 8 pedals without having to change positions.

I think this is similar to the question about what kind of shoes, at least for me. What kind of shoes I use to play in is whatever I have on.
