steel at 1.20

playing sucks a little, it`s the Schild played straight in the twin reverb, no effects used

Well yes, but that keyless tuner takes up as much space as a regular one. Although considering what's been said elsewhere about the ergonomics of keyless designs and the loss of space for the left leg, maybe it's intentional?

yep, guitar is not smaller than standard and also not lighter. i have an E 66 on it now, for i like the brighter sound of a 17,5 pickup.
the guitar is just a pleasure to play for its great mechanics.
i love my GFI Ultra too, but the Schild is just a monster. Smile

where in Stuttgart was that? I love Stuttgart, I used to live in Ludwigsburg by Stuttgart back in early 90's ... used to play at the Joe's Country Hall in Renningen, but I understand that is closed now ... I miss Germany, had many friends there ... one of my best friends was Manfred Homann who was a chief designer at Porsche, and designed Porsche 924 with his team, after Audi abandoned the project they left the Audi motor in 924, thats why that is the only Porsche with Audi motor lol ... dear memories, I'd love to go back some day, I spent many years playing music all over the Europe ... Stuttgart is one of my favorite places in the whole world ...

great to hear that, damir. i always enjoy your posts and surely appreciate your great photos and your obvious love for the steel guitar.
yep, joe`s country hall closed down many years ago, i`ve been there a couple of times.
maybe you remember a guy who was called "Hank Häberle" he was a local hero singin country in german language performing there frequently.
he tragically died at age 50, drinking himself to death, exactly like keith whitley did.
the guy used to employ a great band, including winnie wohlbold who is to this day one of the best, if not The Best steel guitarist in germany.
he plays a franklin D 10 and has all the benado and little walter stuff paul has.
i frequently see him at his house in böblingen.
i would love to show you a Schild, for i know you`d be real exited about it.

whenever you make plans to come over i`d be glad to host you here in stuttgart, a town which indeed is great, especially in the summer time.
great beer and food, as you of course already know.

oh yes my friend, I know, too bad about Joe, I had many banana weizen drinks there... I know Hank Haberle Jr. (the spetzle cowboy) really well, in fact I played steel for him in the early 90's on a few shows... we had tons of fun, maybe I'll see you in Stuttgart some day, who knows 👍

Hey, Norbert - good playing! Nicely in tune and smooth vibrato.

That's not my old Tele that the singer's playing, is it? The one with the Glaser? Same colour, at least.
