I just learned that Mickey Wells has passed.
Mickey was a fixture here in SoCal for many years, and played steel with a number of groups over the years.
He had been in poor health for a number of years - really bad arthritis - and I don't think he was able to play at all in his last years.
Sorry to hear about this. My sincere condolences to his family.
