I believe Emmons called it a Cayman green, but yes, pretty much a teal green. It was a stock Emmons color and I've seen a few Emmons guitars over the years with this color. I think it makes a pretty guitar.

Dean is right on the color - Caymen Green. I have one this exact color, it's a 1994 model, bought at the convention from Jack Strayhorn. GREAT GUITAR!!! P.H.

I've seen several steels of different brands that were that color or really close.

That is Caymen Green and was named so by the mica manufacturer, which I thinks was Nevermar. Weldon's guitar was turquoise which was much lighter and more blue in shade.

Chris...

I have an Emmons LeGrande II (8 &7) the same color as yours...and I absolutely LOVE it!

I know that most steelers want BLACK...and that's alright. But, I wouldn't trade mine for one!

Chris,
That's a nice guitar. I have an early-made Fessenden SD10 in that color.
