People always recognize the intro to Goldfinger, and I thought I might try my own arrangement of the movie classic. I'm using my pedal and lap steels for this one. Hope you enjoy it.

Paul McCartney's big hit "Live and Let Die" was a Bond theme. Smile

Thanks, guys. I guess I like my arrangement to be like my martini: shaken but not stirred (ha!). Doug (Earnest), you are using big words that I had to look up. Like you, Doug (B), I'm a fan of the early James Bond soundtracks, especially From Russia with Love. The Tom Jones version of Goldfinger? Not so much.

Wasn't that Nancy Sinatra who sang the lead to "You Only Live Twice?" Pretty tune!

Chuck, what kind of player are you using on your website? It doesn't play on my Windows 10 64 bit with Chrome 64 bit.

Hi Jim,
Here's the message that I received from my website:

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the message! Are you trying to see why they can't play the music? I checked out your https://chucklettes.com/music page and those tracks all play great. You could ask for a bit more information, for example, if they are able to click the play button and see the track advance, but not hear any sound, or if they are unable to press play. It's working well so it could be an issue with their computer, their speakers, or their web browser.

Thanks,
Melanie @ Bandzoogle

Jim, if you still have problems playing the tune, send me a PM and I'll send you the mp3.

Nice arrangement!

From the Schirmer Pocket Manual of Musical Terms:

Quote:
Scordatura: A change in the ordinary tuning of a stringed instrument, to obtain special effects or easier execution.

Next time someone curious about the PSG asks you "What do the pedals do?" just say "Scordaturas". Evil Twisted

Thanks, Guys. Ray, I'm still practicing Goldfinger on my lap steel. I might try it in Nov. at this year's PSGA show.
