I believe Emmons called it a Cayman green, but yes, pretty much a teal green. It was a stock Emmons color and I've seen a few Emmons guitars over the years with this color. I think it makes a pretty guitar. |

Dean is right on the color - Caymen Green. I have one this exact color, it's a 1994 model, bought at the convention from Jack Strayhorn. GREAT GUITAR!!! P.H. |

I've seen several steels of different brands that were that color or really close. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . That is Caymen Green and was named so by the mica manufacturer, which I thinks was Nevermar. Weldon's guitar was turquoise which was much lighter and more blue in shade. |

Chris...
I have an Emmons LeGrande II (8 &7) the same color as yours...and I absolutely LOVE it!
I know that most steelers want BLACK...and that's alright. But, I wouldn't trade mine for one! _________________ Emmons Legrand II D10 - Gretsch White Falcon stereo - Peavy NSVL. 1000 - Peavy Stereo Chorus 400 |

Chris,
That's a nice guitar. I have an early-made Fessenden SD10 in that color.
