One of the first bands I worked with as a steel player, was fronted by Doug Cecil, one of her Bass players in Vegas. One night, I was dinkin around on the C6 neck with some stuff I was trying..... He looked over and said " You remind me of that dadgum Gene O'Neal.....always tryin new stuff". a pretty good comparison, I'm discovering.

That Jimmy Dean show was just on RFDTV a week or two ago. I think they're showing the entire first season. They have some great country stuff once in awhile like Buck Owens, Hank Snow, etc.
