People always recognize the intro to Goldfinger, and I thought I might try my own arrangement of the movie classic. I'm using my pedal and lap steels for this one. Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you - Chuck!! Excellent use of our instruments, it made me listen to your list again. Because of your picture I always think of you with your A22 - after several bobbin rewinds last week I finally got the right sound back from my #0043 A22 - mojo returns - cheers - Ray |

I veryu much like the "foreplay" aspect of it - Will he/won't he; is it/isn't it? Kinda fits the whole Bond-ish sneaky aspect... Although I though Pierce Brosnan could've been the BEST BOND EVER, well O.K, SECOND-best... but for some bizarre, Hollywoodish idiocy they decided Bond had to blow up MORE cars than the Blues Brothers, kill MORE people than Bruce Willis & Rambo combined, they lost sight of the charm, and this Daniel Craig gritty anti-hero nonsense... sigh. To be a lovable rogue, you do need to be lovable? I did think, if you brought out the tease more early, then slam it with a full-on Theme treatment, well... I'd listen to it a lot! Should I promise you'd get rich and famous? |

Chuck,
My radio show, "Instrumentally Yours" resumes Sunday 24 Sept at 9 pm. I would like to feature your version of "Goldfinger" in a future show.
Could you please send the track to my e-mail? mp3 at least 192 kbps would be nice, if not .aiff or .wav

Thanks, Guys. I guess the music from the early James Bond movies is in my DNA. Kay, glad that you are still doing your radio show. Thanks for promoting the steel guitar.
