NO SHIPPING, LOCAL NW SALE ONLY.
I hate to part with this because it's a great amp but I need to fund another instrument.
I had this amp gone through in July of 2012:
Replaced all tone caps in vibrato channel including brite, reverb and master tone caps. Replaced all screen and grid resistors on output tube sockets. Replaced all output tubes and 1 preamp tube. Replaced one small valve power supply cap and misc other. Biased output tubes. Claned and lubed all pots, jacks and tube sockets. Tested.
At the techs suggestion he used Sozo caps in the tone stack. He knew it was to be used for pedal steel.
The JBL K130 I had reconed at Around The Sound in Greenwood in 2011 I think.
There is the slightest crackle to be heard from time to time, (from the amp, not the speaker), and it's not loud enough to be a problem and it's never bothered me. I bring it up only in the interest of full disclosure. My amp tech could never identify it and it wasn't worth throwing any money at to me.
The JBL was reconed with a 4 ohm kit and reads 5 ohms and change. Yes this amp originally came with an 8 ohm speaker. I've never had an issue with it.
This amp sounds great and has probably been used less than a dozen times since having it serviced.
Rick Johnson cabinet coverings and grill cloths are still like new. I put new badges on both cabs.
$900 local sale only. Can put effort in to make a Portland/Vancouver BC sale work.

Those D2F covers are collecting dust in our guest room. Someone buy this. Great steel amp. Easy carry with spit cabs. |

The amp looks very nice, but your dog steels the show for me, he looks quite content sitting out on the deck! |

Do you have an idea what the head weighs? I had this amp in a combo with a JBL D130F but it was HEAVY. Would love to have it back split up like this but wondering what the head weight is.
Thanks! |

Hey Ben,
The head is 38 pounds. The weight of the combo was the reason I opted for the split cabs. |
