I have a couple of reissues, a Deluxe and a Twin. the reverbs in these have always been finicky, but I could always get them back up and running. Either a send or recovery tube, a footswitch problem, broken wires in the tank, etc. (I have never had a bad reverb choke). Tonight I was chasing a no reverb problem without much success. I had the tank out in my hand and I noticed the mini molex connectors to the transducers. In the old Accutronics pans these connections are soldered. I touched one of these connectors and the reverb started working, so I sprayed and reseated them. Reverb back. I know this is not rocket surgery but it may save someone with the same problem some grief.

the vintage tanks had molex connectors too
Someone down the line probably removed them and soldered to the posts if you see them soldered.
You can do the same with the new tanks if you want to make them a bit more reliable

Sorry Tim, but I had to double check to see if my memory was that bad. I went and pulled out seven old Accutronics tanks, all of which I bought new or pulled from amps I owned and didn't solder these connections.
Only one had the mini molex connectors. The rest had soldered connections. I even have one newer Fender short three spring unit with soldered connections. I have an identical one with the molex connctors.
