I just got word that Suzy passed about 6:30 pm. I know the family appreciated all the prayers and good support from all their friends. Wayne needs our support now even more. She was his biggest supporter and helper in his music and in life in general. She helped Wayne make the Oklahoma Steel Association the great organization it is today. We'll all miss her! |

This is heart breaking. Wayne and Suzy are some of the best people I have ever met. I have talked with Wayne two or three times while this was going on. He is devastated to say the least and needs the steel guitar community to lift his family up in prayer. May God give them strength and comfort that only he can give. |

My deepest condolences to you and the family, Wayne, on Suzy's passing. She was such a sweetheart and always made my trips to the Tulsa show that much more enjoyable. Be strong. _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

The funeral service for Susie is going to be Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM at the Westside Church of Christ in Tishimingo.
Wayne said the easiest way when coming from Ada direction- When you get into town to the first stoplight, you turn right and go 1 mile and the church is on the left. |

Clark Funeral Service, Inc. (580)371-2338
Westside Church of Christ
This was the information that came from Clark Funeral Service, Inc.
Coming into Tishimingo on Highway 99, the first stoplight is on Main St. Turn right. The road splits and you stay to the left. The church is immediately after you turn into that left turn.
Hopefully, that will help anyone attending the service.
The church has a post office box, a latitude longitude but no street address.

Gary Storde found an address of the Westside Church of Christ.
9500 US Highway 377 South Tishomingo, OK
I checked this address on my map this afternoon and it looks like that is the correct site. At least we have something for our GPS. |
