Was told to try a Holy Grail reverb pedal with steel guitar but when I look at them I see there are different models, which one is best with steel? |

I don't think any would suck. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects |

I'm looking at this website:
https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/blog/2015/03/18/house-of-the-holy-which-electro-harmonix-holy-grail-is-right-for-you/
I find, for times when I play harmony with the guitar, that the "flerb" setting gives a nice chorusy shimmer.
So I would choose either: Holy Grail, Holy Grail Plus, or Holy Grail Nano. The Cathedral and epitome would also work, and the Epitome with its POG and Organ sounds like funky steel heaven!
I'd AVOID Holy Grail Neo, Max, Stain and Turnip Greens. I wouldn't buy one sans Flerb. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

I'm happy with my Holy Grail Plus. To me, the Flerb setting is useless, but YMMV. |
