Don’t know what happened with the video... should have been in HD... anyhow, besides that and needing lessons, what would you change about the tone?... this was done with a BL-710 and a Revelation Tube Pre-amp with a Crown XLS 1002 power amp and a Lexicon MPX1 for effects

I’ve had this guitar a little over a month and been playing with different settings for tone.

Dale,

I think you've got it dialed in pretty good. That's great tone and great playing.

Thanks Mathew... I am really happy with what I’m hearing out of this guitar, I just never trust that my ears are giving me the right feedback... hence why I ask folks I respect what they may be hearing differently than I... It helps me dial in I think... BTW, you’re an inspiration to me my young friend.

Enjoyed the noodling, Dale! Great sound...great combination of the steel, pickup, amp, and effects but let's not forget the hands that go with it. You've got it down!

Dale - great as usual. Do you mind sharing your Revelation settings and what speaker(s) you used? Thanks.

Thanks Gentleman, I appreciate the comments.

Larry, I will not argue with you Laughing I’ve wanted a Red guitar for Decades.

Allen, thanks, I think I’m pretty settled in to what I’m hearing

Thank-you Jeff... I might think I’ve “got it down” when I can play more of those great Tabs you make. Very Happy

Thank Jim... Don’t mine at all... My Revelation was set on 5 across the board, except of the FX knob which was between 9-10 (Lexicon MPX1 for FX) with the Post Gain at 9... I also had the Vari-Z set to about 9-9:30 with the Dark/Normal/Bright switch set to normal... Some of that might vary depending on what track I might want to record with to make it sit well in the mix... I’m using 1- Shallow Basket BW and 1- Eminence 15C?... whatever the 15” steel speaker is... Crown XLS 1002 for Power Amp.... That said, I recorded that direct, using all those things, but not sure what that tells you.
