Bobby Flores and the Yellow Rose band were in Seattle this Saturday at The Little Red Hen. Nathan was playing a beautiful Emmons guitar and he is a great player! If I have half the touch/tone and half of the speed that Nathan had Saturday, I'll die a happy man. If you ever have the chance, check them out! How can you go wrong with a great pedal steel player and triple fiddles?

Hey Andy. I met Nathan in St. Louis two years ago. He played with Johnny Bush and amazed us all. He is one of the up and coming greats. |

I'll second Ben. That set in St. Louis with Nathan playing for Johnny Bush was terrific!

As an aside, Bobby Flores doesn't take a back seat to anybody when it comes to playing a steel either. _________________ Rebel |

Nathan Fleming is a ball of fire! Players like him are the future of our instrument. And if Bobby Flores has him in his band you know he has to be great! _________________ Tommy Detamore

Yes; I am probably the proudest on looker of Nathan; as he was one of my first students(back when I taught regular) like 20 years ago. He was such a natural...I knew he had it; when I would show him a picking pattern that took me months and months to accomplish and it took him 5 minutes...ha.
Nathan has a natural ear for hearing and learning and physically able to head down a wonderful musical road.

When he lived in Philly, he came to me for lessons and, after I heard him play, I told him that he didn't need any lessons from me. He was already advanced enough that he just needed a gig to polish it all up. Next thing I knew, he had moved to Texas and was working for Johnny Bush! Hah! Good on ya, Nathan! ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) _________________ www.JimCohen.com

I saw Nathan play a great set with Johnny Bush last night in Fort Worth. Very smooth and precise with swing and the right note choice.
The future of steel guitar is secure. ![Cool](images/smiles/icon_cool.gif) _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

My wife and I went on the Bobby Flores Alaska Cruise first part of August. I got to hear Nathan play three dances and a concert. He is an outstanding player and fits in great with the Yellow Rose Band. One of my favorite steel players. _________________ 76 Emmons Push Pull, Williams 600, ShoBud Pro I, MSA Classic, Remington SteelMaster dbl 8, MSA Super Slide dbl 8, Gold Tone 6, And other instruments and equipment I can't afford. |
