Purchased this beautiful Sho-Bud from Lloyd Maines last year and had Ricky Davis set this up as a straight Emmons setup. Plays great, sounds WONDERFUL!!! Your classic Sho-Bud sound. Some slight fading on back side (see photos).
Case is functional, but has seen better days.
Feel free to contact me via phone, text, or email.

I got this guitar last Friday. It plays like a dream and sounds great. I have question though. If you look at it from the right angle the front has smudges or signs of the guitar rubbing on something. How do I get them out? |

I wouldn't worry about smudges, it is 40 years old guitar, and the price is unbelievable low for this instrument ... these are awesome guitars...great buy my friend _________________ www.steelguitarsonline.com |

Certainly if anything got on there that is raised or smudgy..is most likely some kind of glue/tape....bla bla...and I have used goo be gone pictured here...to eliminate or I have used 3 & 1 oil to rub...and neither of those will remove finish...and then after that I would moisturize with Old English Lemon Oil.

Not real concerned Damir. Let me tell you the tone makes up for the smudges. I was just wanting to make it look the best I can. Mark is going to miss this gem down the road. Thought maybe a forum member had some insight. It came with some terrycloth towels packed around it and I just wondered if they were the culprits. You can't see it dead on just from the side. I must repeat what a guitar. |
