I would certainly appreciate a copy of a Derby D10 owners manual. There is a website that posts owners manuals but they don't have a Derby. The link to that site is: http://www.steelguitarinfo.com/downloads/OwnersManuals/index.html
Please email me for my fax number if you can help. Thanx jc

I don't believe there is a Derby "owners manual". However, Charlie does provide a sheet describing how to change rods, pull length, etc. If you'll look at the guitar mechanics, you'll see it is a well thought out instrument with some really precise, simple movements. The split tuning is pretty straight forward as well; they only effect the raise of strings. If all else fails, call Charlie and go get some hands on instruction.

Tim, thank you for your input. Perhaps you have a copy of that sheet available? If you could email me a copy, that would be great. Thanks, jc

I can't email, but I can fax. It would take me a while to transfer this to an electronic format. Give me a fax number and I'll send you a copy.
