That was great! Thanks for posting. I once read an interview with Paul F. stating that Bluesmen like B.B. King prefer C6 over E9. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

Is that really Paul? The body language looks right, but the facial shots, I'm not sure. Also, if it is him, very different style of playing, right out of BE's handbook..
of course, I could be completely wrong... |

PF in both of those per Jim Smith and PW. No question. Paul was a part of Reed's band back when. |

Didn't Paul have a brother that was an excellent steel player also? From what I remember, Paul's brother was a great player that sort of went unnoticed.

I don't know about his brother, but I think his dad "tried" making some steel.... HeheheeðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ _________________ 1981 Emmons P/P, P2P Bad Dawg 1x12, Benado Steel Dream, Goodrich L120 volume pedal & BJS bar |

I don't have a clue what he was using, but I have this pedal that makes that exact sound.

I'd guess it was more likely an MXR Envelope Filter, since Buddy Emmons used one. |
